Algajola Sport & Nature diving equipment

An Aqualung partner centre for over 10 years

Algajola Sport & Nature has been an Aqualung partner for over 10 years. This partnership allows us to offer recognised diving equipment that is comfortable and suited to regular use in a professional centre.

Choosing the right equipment is important, especially for beginner divers experiencing their first sensations underwater. A well-fitted BCD, a comfortable regulator, a suitable wetsuit and appropriate weighting all contribute directly to a successful experience.

Our team helps you get kitted up before each outing to make sure everything is properly adjusted.

Equipment suited to every type of diver

Our equipment range lets us welcome very different divers: children, adults, beginners, certified divers, courses and groups.

In particular, we have full wetsuits ranging from size 00 to XXL to equip a wide range of people. The wetsuits are chosen to offer a good balance between thermal comfort, freedom of movement and protection.

The centre also has a large stock of dive tanks in different volumes, so equipment can be matched to each diver's profile, level, air consumption and the type of dive planned.

Regulators, BCDs and tanks: regular servicing

Comfort and safety depend on rigorous maintenance. The regulators are serviced every year by an approved company and checked to ensure they work properly.

Diving cylinders are regularly monitored, with visual inspection by an approved technician. This check keeps our fleet reliable and suited to the centre's daily activity.

Before each outing, the team checks the equipment needed for the dive: tank, regulator, BCD, weights, wetsuit and accessories. The goal is simple: to let every diver enter the water in good conditions.

A modern filling station

Algajola Sport & Nature has a high-performance filling station, equipped with a Bauer PE-550 compressor and 300-bar buffer cylinder banks.

The quality of the air you breathe is central to diving. The filtration system is carefully monitored and managed by a safety system that checks the condition of the filter cartridge.

This set-up ensures efficient tank filling, especially during busy periods, while maintaining very high standards of air quality.

Three boats to reach the Balagne sites quickly

For dive trips, Algajola Sport & Nature has several boats suited to the centre's activities. They provide quick access to the sites between Calvi, Algajola and L’Île-Rousse.

The fleet includes:

Laetitia II, 8.40 m aluminium landing craft, 20 seats, 260 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine.

Louisa, a 7.50 m aluminium-hull RIB, 20 seats, Yamaha 300 hp engine.

On/Off, 7.50 m Capelli RIB, 24 seats, 300 hp Yamaha engine.

All boats are equipped to run sea outings in good conditions: VHF, GPS, depth sounder, full first-aid kit and oxygen therapy equipment.

Rinsing, disinfection and storage of equipment

After each dive, the equipment is rinsed, disinfected and stored in dedicated areas. The centre uses suitable rinsing and disinfection products, including the ABYSSNAUT range.

There is also space for storing personal equipment. This is particularly useful for divers on holiday, groups and clubs who want to leave their gear at the centre between outings.

The rinsing and drying area makes it easier to rotate equipment while ensuring good hygiene and greater comfort for divers.

An organisation designed for clubs and groups

Thanks to its equipment, boats and storage areas, Algajola Sport & Nature can host groups and dive clubs in good conditions.

The aim is to make things simple on site: boarding from Algajola beach, kitting up at the centre, quick access to the boats, rinsing on return and storage available for personal equipment.

This set-up lets you make the most of your stay without wasting time on logistics.

A responsible approach

Our equipment is also part of our environmental approach. We limit excessive use of fresh water, favour biodegradable products for maintenance and recycle old neoprene wetsuits whenever possible.

This care for the equipment extends its lifespan, improves divers’ comfort and reduces the activity’s environmental impact.
