Activity description

Our try dive is the ideal activity to discover scuba diving in Corsica, in a reassuring and idyllic setting. Open to everyone from age 8, this first dive one-to-one with your instructor lets you experience the unique sensation of breathing underwater and discover the rich marine life and flora of Balagne.

The activity starts at the dive centre on Algajola beach with a welcome for the divers, followed by equipment distribution and a briefing explaining how your first dive will go. You leave by boat from the beach to a calm, shallow dive site. Individually accompanied by an instructor, you will descend at your own pace into crystal-clear water and swim among the fish for at least 20 minutes.

This activity focuses on comfort, safety and wonder.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to be a perfect swimmer?

You do not need to be a strong swimmer, but being comfortable in the water is a plus. The instructor takes care of everything and accompanies you individually.

Do I need a medical certificate for a try dive?

If you are in good health, you do not need a medical certificate. However, some conditions, even minor ones, may be contraindicated for scuba diving: in that case you will need to provide us with a medical opinion. View the list of contraindications
