Activity description

This three-dive course will let you progress gradually down to 12m with your instructor. You will learn to use the equipment and some scuba diving basics while enjoying our dive sites with incredible visibility and rich fauna and flora.

The dives take place gradually in conditions suited to beginners. Algajola offers a reassuring environment with clear water and accessible sites. At the end of this course you can obtain a certification attesting to your level at different dive centres. This course corresponds to the first three dives of the Level 1 course, so you can later upgrade your PE12 to PE20/Level 1 without starting the whole course again from scratch.

  1. welcoming divers at the dive centre on the beach
  2. kitting up, then briefing
  3. boat departure from the beach
  4. per dive/session
  5. return by boat, rinsing the equipment, debriefing while filling in the logbook

How long does the PE12 course take?

You should generally plan for three 2-hour slots.

Do I need a medical certificate?

Yes. A medical certificate stating that you have no contraindication to scuba diving is mandatory for this course. It must be shown before the first dive.
