Activity description

This five-dive course will let you progress gradually to a depth of 20m with your instructor. You will learn to use the equipment and the basics of scuba diving while enjoying our dive sites, with incredible visibility and rich in fauna and flora.

The dives take place progressively in conditions suited to beginners. Algajola offers a reassuring environment with clear water and accessible sites. At the end of this course you can obtain a certification attesting to your level at dive centres in France and abroad. This course opens the door to many exploration dives around the world and is a solid foundation for continuing your training towards Level 2.

  5. return by boat, rinsing the equipment, debriefing while filling in the logbook

What are the prerequisites to start the Level 1 course?

You must have already done at least one try dive.

Is equipment provided?

Of course, all equipment is provided and included in the course.

How long does the Level 1 course take?

you should generally allow three 2h afternoon sessions and one full morning

Is the diver certification included in the price?

Certification is not included in the course price, as there are several options. Contact us or discuss it on site.

Do I need a medical certificate?

Yes. A medical certificate stating that you have no contraindication to scuba diving is mandatory for this course. It must be shown before the first dive.
